What We Believe

In essential beliefs - WE HAVE UNITY

"There is one Body and Spirit...there is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism and one God and Father of us all."  Ephesians 4:4-6

In non-essential beliefs - WE HAVE LIBERTY

"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls...So then each of us will give account of himself to God...So whatever you believe about these things, keep between yourself and God."  Romans 14:1,4, 12, 22

In all our beliefs - WE SHOW CHARITY

"If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains but have not LOVE, I amount to nothing at all."  1 Corinthians 13:2

Essentials We Believe

  • About God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists and is manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • About Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God and the Lord of all creation. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice under the Abrahamic covenant. He paid the payment in full for the sins of all people. He did this by dying on a cross and suffering the punishment of sin for all of mankind. He arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday to Earth to reign. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  • About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the connection and the source of power in the believer's life. Upon receiving Christ, we become the Temple of the Holy Ghost, and He begins a new work in us. He draws us to God for regeneration then overflows in our life in spiritual manifestation. These experiences of overflow are essential for a victorious Spirit-filled life. They provide the Christian with the power for living, understanding and receiving of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The gifts of the Spirit, speaking with tongues and other power manifestations are the result of his working through us.

  • About the Bible
The Bible is God's Word of Divine authority and inspiration to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is breathed by God, it is the truth without any error.

  • About Salvation
Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we repent of our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are forgiven and saved. A believer in Jesus Christ should be water baptized, by full immersion, as a means of identifying with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection and for empowerment in leaving behind the old way of life.

  • About Eternity
People were created to exist forever, either separated from God by sin, or eternally joined with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
